About Us

Welcome to Reminiscent Escapes! 

 

We are a mother and daughter team who found ourselves looking for something to do to keep our sanity during the crazy year of 2020, which I'm sure you can relate to. I had been furloughed from my job and Brittany was back at home after her college campus had closed. During that time, we were thinking of something we could enjoy doing together that didn't involve more baking, and we discovered candle making!  I am a huge candle lover and already had candles all over our home, so I thought it would be really cool to make my own candles. While Brittany, who loves science and any delicious scent, was excited about the scientific aspect of candle making and all of the scent possibilities. So we ordered our candle making kit and got started. After having such a great time together, we continued to make candles and got pretty good at it, if we don't say so ourselves!  We decided that it was something that we wanted to take a step further and look into starting our own candle making business together. And from there, Reminiscent Escapes was born!  

We came up with the concept of Reminiscent Escapes while everyone was stuck in the house. We thought about some of the things people might be missing and reminiscing about, such as going on a fun trip with your girls, hanging out with your boys watching the game, or meeting for coffee to get to know someone new, or to catch up with an old friend. That was the the inspiration behind our Escape Collections.

Our Girl's Trip Escape Collection includes scents that are destination themed and have delicious cocktail scents for you to enjoy!

Our Boy's Weekend Escape Collection includes scents with a cigar lounge theme with some intoxicating liquor scents!

And finally, our Coffee House Escape Collection creates a coffee house experience you can enjoy right at home!
